Spring has come around, and has gifted us with some lovely days already. A sure sign of spring for me are the magnolia trees at the cathedral. Just around the corner I went to Kindergarden, and one of my childhood memories is of my father and me checking, how far the magnolias had already come along to being in bloom. Very special were the years when the trees would bloom a second time in late summer. That’s almost a given nowadays (climate change?), but back then it was still something special.
